Hello and Welcome!
I am an integrative psychotherapist and coach, which for me is about taking into account the whole person (body, mind, heart, spirit, relationships, community) including all aspects of lifestyle. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned my Master’s of Social Work from Monash University in Australia. I have extensive professional training and expertise in mental health.
I have worked within the Sutter Health care network for over 10 years as a medical social worker including palliative and hospice care. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my clinical practice.
I work with individuals experiencing life difficulties, major life transitions, stress, depression, anxiety, loss & grief, as well as with persons affected by chronic and/or life threatening illnesses.
I have always been inspired by the interconnectedness of mind and body, and the resilience of our hearts. I am honored to help others in their journeys to empowerment, authenticity and creating a life they love.
As an Integrative therapist I support and guide clients to overcome core issues, dive into limiting beliefs and overcome negative self talk, reclaim their power, develop personal action plans, and help them move effectively toward achieving their goals.
I help identify problem-solving skills and networks of support, and promote self-advocacy and navigating systems to attain one’s own goals.
I provide a supportive atmosphere, nurture skill building and coping strategies through a client-centered and holistic approach to help individuals navigate life issues.
I am your advocate, someone who will hold a safe space while helping you heal, grow and uncover solutions for your life.
Integrating western psychology, contemporary neuroscience, and contemplative based mindfulness practice we approach the change process with authenticity, presence and care. Whether seeking to shift behavior patterns, navigate relationships, or manage stress, my approach meets my clients where they are and where they want to go.
We are influenced by life's experiences in a myriad of ways. In order to support my clients, I believe it is vital to hold an integrative framework as we work on meeting goals. As an integrative therapist, I take into account the biological, relational, systemic, social, cultural, emotional, physiological, and spiritual components to health and well-being and integrate such into my counseling services.
You will learn how to integrate into your everyday life what you learn about yourself and others during your therapy session. I take a trauma-informed, integrative approach to healing, satisfaction, and wholeness
Currently I am only seeing clients by Telehealth / Online. Some home sessions are available for homebound clients.
SESSIONS: Sessions are 50 minutes in length. My standard fee is $120 per session, but I do offer sliding scale for those unable to pay full fee. We would discuss this at our first meeting.
INSURANCE: I am a Medicare provider. For all other insurances, I am an out-of-network provider. I will provide a bill for you to submit to insurance and your insurance carrier can clarify the reimbursement amount and the information needed for claims.
How often do I come?
Most often, we begin by scheduling an ongoing time and meet on a regular basis until you feel ready to stop. There is no set length of time for therapy. We will discuss your progress and goals, and as we work together, you will begin to internalize the therapy process so that it becomes a part of how you think, and how you take care of your needs. You’ll be able to identify the right time to end.
