Life is such a precious journey. It provides the opportunity to connect, learn, love, and grow. Yet, we may face many setbacks and challenges along the way. We might struggle with soaring stress at work, increasing difficulties at school, or family turmoil at home. We may also traverse life-changing events that wound us to the core. While sometimes we can navigate hardship and move on, other times we find ourselves filled with self-doubt, loneliness, and frustration. Maybe we think there’s no turning point, or we give up hope for the future.
No matter how lost and defeated you might feel right now, please know things can get better. Whether you struggle with depression, anxiety, anger, relationship conflicts, or any other problems affecting your quality of life, you have the power to create change. But you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy is a way to increase self-awareness and get to the root of the problem and can help you regain hope, meaning and purpose.
We are the sum of our parts. As human beings, we encompass our mind, body, heart and spirit. These elements are all interconnected, impacting one another as we go through our journeys.
Integrative psychotherapy centers on the relationship between your body, mind, emotions, heart center and spirit to increase awareness, self-acceptance and growth. It draws from other forms of therapy such as psychodynamic therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as non-traditional practices like mindfulness and breathwork.
Utilizing mind-body tools, and action plans to achieve permanent behavior change, I help clients get from where they are in life to where they want to be and assist with achieving mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual (if important to you) balance. A holistic integrative approach focuses on helping you understand how these components work together to support your being.
